1:12 Scale Elegant White Meringue Tower

I made this 1:12 scale elegant white meringue tower just last week. Was undecided on the colour scheme, but I later decided to go for all white. I'm happy how it turns out. Very clean, pristine and serene.

This is now available at my etsy shop: http://www.miniaturepatisserie.etsy.com

Should I make a pink one next? Hmmmm....

Torched Meringue and Strawberry Charlotte Cake

I made this just recently. It was my first try attempting to make meringue charlotte cake. In fact, some experiment lead to the result of the torched meringue. I loved the slightly torched look. How about you?

This charlotte cake is a gift for my friend Marie. ^^

This is much larger than the usual 1:12 scale that I normally make. It measures 3cm wide and 1.4cm tall. I don't really know what scale this falls into, because I'm not good with other scales and I'm just not really good in Math period. LOL

I have another torched meringue strawberry charlotte cake available over at my dollhouse miniatures store. :)

Planning another Giveaway!

It's never too early to plan another giveaway, I think! It's a blessing to know people read my blog, even though these days, I don't really have time to write very much! But this weekend, I should have something up!

Anyway, I thought of planning another giveaway when I have 200 followers. That should also give me some time to plan something special!

So yes, that is the decision! I'll put up the post for the giveaway when I reach that target, and then the draw would begin.

Looking forward to the weekend already! I'm meeting an ex-colleague from my previous company this evening for dinner and shopping. :)

1:12 Scale Miniature Strawberries

Made a lot of 1:12 scale strawberries over the weekend, it was pretty tedious. I had these plastic containers for a few years now (no joke!) but never had the chance to use them until now.

There are like...almost 20 strawberries in the plastic containers. As I had to make 2 boxes, that means about 40 strawberries...........lol

It's tedious because you need to make the fruit first, then the leaves go on top of it, and then the stem. I still think I can do better with the colour for the next time round!

I'm intending to make another piece, so that means MORE strawberries to go.

Until then...I'll take a step at a time. :)

Miniature snacks

I spent the last few days working fervently on these miniature snack boxes, and it only filled up half a tier of the top supermarket shelf. I'm a proud owner of a miniature supermarket grocery shelf, all thanks to Amy and Tony :)

I don't know when I would ever finish filling up the shelves, but I'll work on it whenever I can. It will be spectacular when it's completed..
